Wednesday 25th saw our annual awards ceremony take place in the sports hall. It serves to recognise those that have excelled in GCS over the year in all aspects of school life. We saw awards for attendance, academic achievement, sports, arts, subjects as well as the main awards of academic, collegian and student of the year. Well done to all who received awards. 'Music for a Summer's Evening', an evening of music and song brought to you by the staff and students of Glenamaddy Community School will take place on Thursday evening, the 26th of May at 7pm in the School. Tickets on the door are €5 for adults and €3 for students and children. There will also be a raffle and refreshments on the night. All are welcome.

Well done to all our Leaving Cert students who had their Graduation Mass on Thursday 19th in the Sports Hall. It was a wonderful celebration and a fitting way to round off the students time in our school. We wish them well in thier exams and in their future careers. A special word of thanks to Fr.
