On the 16th May, our TY students attended an awards ceremony in DCU. They entered a competition where they made a book entitled "It Felt Like Yesterday". They interviewed older members of their families about their lives growing up and included photos of them in their younger years and more recent times. As part of this project, they also made weekly visits to Glenamaddy Daycare centre. There were 4 award categories, GCS won the top award (Platinum). Robin Morgan accepted the award from Minister Roderic O Gorman on behalf of the group. Well done everyone!
