All of our Transition Year Students completed their Gaisce Adventure Journey by taking on the epic task of cycling to Gorthaganny, a 5km paddle around Lough Errit, a camp-in and a cycle home the next day. This was organised by their teacher, Ms. O’Flanagan who accompanied them, along with Ms. Joyce, Mr. Heverin and Nigel. What a great achievement for them all. And they’re still smiling! Well done to the U15 boys team and management who won their All Ireland B semi final this week in Sligo. This semi final has ran over from last years competition due to delays with Covid, etc. The boys had a solid 3-1 win v Pobalscoil Gaoth Dobhair. Having conceded the first goal, they made an impressive comeback and therefore booking their place in the final in early October.
